Coast to Coast US Endor Tour

May 26th, 2008 by Marc

This season, Endor Nanotechnologies is attending to two important international conventions in US: NSTI (Boston from 1st until 5th of June) and BIO (San Diego from 16th until 20th of June).

Firstly, NSTI Nanotech 2008 is the largest and most comprehensive technical and business event in nanotechnology world-wide (http://www.nsti.org/Nanotech2008/) with over 30 technical & business symposia. The conference and exposition will be held at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

In this meeting, Dr. Marc Ramis will present (Monday, 2nd of June) a poster based on his recent work with Hyaluronic Acid and Gold Nanoparticles: “Synthesis and characterization of Hyaluronan – Gold Nanoparticles: A nanostructured material for biomedical applications”. In this project, our intention is to introduce a novel treatment based on Gold-HA Nanoparticles for biomedical treatments, with improved features in terms of stability, skin-penetration and water absorption/retaining effect.

Two weeks later, Endor is attending to the 2008 BIO (Biotechnology Industry Organization) International Convention (http://www.bio2008.org/). BIO is the world’s largest biotechnology organization, providing advocacy, business development, and communications services for more than 1,150 members worldwide. Corporate members range from entrepreneurial companies in the process of developing a first product to Fortune 100 multinationals.

BIO performs many services for members, but none of them is more visible than the BIO International Convention, the largest biotechnology event in the world. The BIO International Convention helps BIO fulfill its mission to help grow the global biotech industry.

The BIO International Convention features keynotes and sessions from key policymakers, scientists, CEOs, and celebrities. The convention also includes hundreds of sessions covering biotech trends, policy issues and technological innovations, and the world’s largest biotechnology exhibition

If you interested to contact Endor at the BIO, visit Biocat exhibitor stand or contact directly to Dr. Marc Ramis. Biocat is the biocluster organization that promotes biotechnology and biomedicine in Catalonia. It is fostered by the Government of Catalonia and it is participated by companies and public research institutions (www.biocat.cat).
