Joaquín holds the C.E.O. position at Endor Nanotechnologies and is an associate founder. At Endor, Joaquín is responsible for the general management of the company, defining and implementing business strategies, growing models and working into the management team. He has extensive experience in finance planning, VC negotiations and company organization. Previously, Joaquín held a C.E.O. position at TRQ, a Spanish company devoted to electronic devices, R&D and manufacturing. His first initiative as an entrepreneur was Sokkos, a company located in Valencia founded in 2004 focused in project development of electronic devices applied to architecture. Before this, he was a researcher at the IIIA (Artificial Intelligence Research Institute), a public center belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Joaquín gained his MSc degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona in 2000 and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 1996. He was also enrolled in an executive program at IESE Business School in 2005.
Judith is an experienced professional managing R&D projects in the public-private sector. She developed a strong understanding of life sciences focusing her research in the cardiovascular field. Since 2008, she is leading our R&D portfolio gaining expertise in nanomedicine and managing people at Endor. Her research focus is to develop pharmacology studies with advanced metallic nanoparticles. Judith is an expert in nano-pharmacology development, publishing book chapters and research papers in prestigious journals. Previously, Judith studied the identification of mollecular mechanisms involved in atherosclerosis and hypertension diseases at the Catalan Institute of Cardiovascular Sciencies (ICCC). Judith gained a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona in 2008. She has also a BSc degree in Biology (University of Barcelona) from 2002 and a BSc degree in Business Administration and Management (UOC) from 2010.
Javier is Director of financial operations at Endor Nanotechnologies and is an associate founder. At Endor, Javier's main responsibility is to manage negotiation and relationship with potential investors (VC firms). He is also in charge of the strategic financial plan. Javier’s first experience as an entrepreneur was A-Capital, a Spanish company devoted to corporate finance services. Currently he holds the Managing Director position in Corporate Finance Department at A-Capital. Previously, he was Senior Manager at Avant Corporate Finance. Holding a position in the Merger and Acquisition Department, his main responsibilities were strategy implantation, project management, customer relationship and team coordination. Javier gained his MSc in Economics from the University of Barcelona. He is also a MBA from the ESADE and Warwick Business Schools.
